Embarks weekly on Friday Day 1: (Friday) Staff will meet you at your hotel, the airport or train station for transfer to the cruise. Board the ship before lunch. After lunch visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk. FREE BONUS: Sail on the Nile by felucca (native sailboat). (Please note that these boats are solely wind powered, if there is no wind this will not operate). Dinner. (L, D) Day 2: (Saturday) Breakfast while sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus. Dinner on board. Sail to Esna. Overnight Esna (B, L, D) Day 3: (Sunday) Breakfast while sailing to Luxor. Upon arriving in Luxor visit the East Bank which consists of the Luxor and Karnak temples. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight Luxor (B, L, D) Day 4: (Monday) Breakfast then check out. Visit the West Bank of Luxor which includes the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour, disembarkation. (B) CRUISES INCLUDE: Outside, Nile view cabins. All cabins have private baths and individually controlled air-conditioning. Meals as noted by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Transfers to/from antiquity sites visited on ship’s itinerary. Entry fees to sites. Services of an English speaking licensed guide unless you prefer a different language (we have guides fluent in most major languages). Port fees, service charges and taxes.
