Day 1 (Saturday) Staff will meet you at your hotel, the airport or train station for transfer to your Deluxe Five Star Nile Cruiser, the Kon-Tiki. Embarkation then lunch. After lunch visit the Karnak and Luxor temples on the East Bank of Luxor. Dinner. Overnight Luxor (L,D)

Day 2 (Sunday) Early morning sail to Esna. Breakfast on board. Pass the Esna lock and sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Dinner. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)

Day 3 (Monday) Breakfast on board then visit the Temple of Edfu.  After touring sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Sail to Aswan. Dinner. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

Day 4 (Tuesday) Breakfast on board then visit the High Dam, the Pharaohs granite quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and Temple of Philae. Lunch on board then in the afternoon FREE BONUS: Sail on the Nile by felucca (native sailboat). (Please note that these boats are solely wind powered, if there is no wind this will not operate). Dinner. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

Day 5 (Wednesday) Breakfast on board. Free morning to enjoy Aswan or perhaps an optional tour to see the famous Temples of Ramses at Abu Simbel (Abu Simbel extension by air is an additional cost of $250 per person). In the afternoon sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo and sail to Edfu. Dinner. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)

Day 6 (Thursday) Breakfast on board then sail to Esna and pass the lock. Lunch on board. Sail to Luxor. Dinner. Overnight Luxor (B,L,D)

Day 7 (Friday) Breakfast on board then cross the Nile and visit the West Bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.  Lunch on board. Afternoon free at leisure in Luxor. Dinner. Overnight Luxor (B,L,D)

Day 8 (Saturday) Breakfast then disembark. (B)

CRUISES INCLUDE:
Outside, Nile view cabins. All cabins have private baths and individually controlled air-conditioning. Meals as noted by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Transfers to/from antiquity sites visited on ship’s itinerary. Entry fees to sites. Services of an English speaking licensed guide unless you prefer a different language (we have guides fluent in most major languages). Port fees, service charges and taxes.

NOT INCLUDED: Anything prior to embarkation or after disembarkation. Items of a personal nature such as tips, laundry, telephone, beverages of any nature at any time, anything not specifically mentioned as included.
